Kitchen (Renaissance Eclectic)
Originally the current kitchen area was in the interior of the house, preventing the owners from monitoring their children at play in the back yard. Design challenges included removing a central fireplace and relocating a laundry room. The end result was a high-end modern kitchen naturally lighted with a beautiful view to the backyard.
Kitchen (Old World)
A smaller kitchen was expanded by pushing a wall back into a pantry area. The original peninsula had limited seating for three. The addition of this angular granite topped peninsula now provides seating for a family of six. The stone niche behind the gas stove is clearly a focal point for this designer kitchen.
